Global Warming and Climate Change} only doom and gloom are we too late NO!
Climate change doom and gloom! Global warming Are we too late? ABSOLUTELY NOT! But it is true that the longer that we wait for the correct fix to be started, then the more compounding will be the need, for a mixture of fixes that while does not correct the problems, but will serve to help local needs. Example, the need to build higher sea walls, instead of keeping the world waters from entering the oceans in the first place! Since we are talking about, the planet slowly changing over 4.5 billion years. We must understand that how life on this planet has changed over those same 4.5 billion years has not been caused by any great design, but by life finding a way to simply live. when it's has lots of carbon dioxide and sun light , photosynthesis was what ended up being used to create that life. Millions of years later, when much of the atmospheric carbon dioxide had been converted to oxygen, a new life started up using the new gas, that had not been available earlier. But this new life could not simply use oxygen and sunlight to survive and grow, so for its energy source it ate the life that was here first. That was how it uses carbon for growth. Did the first life source stop growing because of the new life. No it simply keep adapting to the changing conditions. Then when this new life source begins to overpopulate areas another adaptation comes along and it starts to feed on it and predators would now be, around. (I'm sure that from the very start, everything has had something else that was more than willing to eat it, or a least feed off of it) Thru out time, life has had to adapt to changing availabilities of gases in the atmosphere to changing temperatures that surrounds the life that is there, to amounts and strength of sunlight, depending on where on the planet that life is. The movements of the plates of the planet, even as slow as they are, have made life on one plate quite different from the life that has evolved on another. So every living life form that has ever been on this planet has had to fit in someway to survive. Mankind is no different, no warm winter coat, weak compared to many other animals, the need to survive makes mankind not adapt to their surrounding but the need to overcome the lack of what others on the planet were born with, makes mankind change the surrounding so that it can now survive. Much of the lost of available carbon can be laid at the feet of sea life of the oceans, shellfish, do we blame them for having a great part of the lost of available carbon by living and dieing in such great number over the course of life on this planet that the creation of so much limestone has had the effect of sequestering over 99% of carbon on this planet! This is what all life on this planet is made of! The lowly oyster, the clam, I guess that is why they need such hard shells to bear the weight of such knowledge.
