407 Much of the Worlds population has heard of the "Big Bang Theory" first talked about in the 1920's by a Catholic priest, now widely accepted.

Understanding such a complex idea, took the scientific world a long time to decide if this idea was the most logical explanation of how the universe, first came into being. Many have tried to find a more easily understood explanation, but all others, always have been proven even more unlikely. Is time travel possible, in one example it has been proven to be true. With the speed of light seemingly set at 186,000 miles a second what our telescopes show us is not what is happening now but what was happening when the light that finally reaches us was like when it first left where it started from, be that light from our own star the Sun around 8 minutes ago to as far away as the very best telescope can see, almost back as far as the "Big Bang" itself, meaning almost 13 billion years ago! My personal belief is that this would be the only type of time travel mankind will ever be able to do, also by far the safest type of time travel there is, simply looking through a piece of gla

406 Ascension Island, Green Mountain, Charles Darwin, and Mr. Hooker. It is hard to find something new under the sun, even the "plan" is not!

Ascension Island was once an island with minimal plant life on it. Then Charles Darwin and the ship "The Beagle" made a stop at the barren island, he was intrigued by how little plantlife there was, where most other islands that the ship had made port at, had been teeming with plant life. This got Mr. Darwin thinking about if something could be done and when he got home he told Sir Joesph Hooker about what he saw on the island and wondered if somehow they could change the islands ecology by increasing its plant life!     Hooker took this challenge to heart and over the next fifty years turned a mainly barren island into a plant oasias where the plant life actually changed the climate on the island and the mountain on the island became know as Green Mountain where heavy fogs would settle around the tops of the mountain bringing water to the whole island.      Would Darwin's and Hooker's plan work had the mountains on Ascension island not been as tall as they are,

405 Cause and effect! When mankind HAD to change from "hunter gather" to an "agricultural based sociality" to be able to feed a growing population.

Everything on the planet also changed. Hindsight is a wonderful thing if we make use of the knowledge that we learn, which seldom happens, mistakes of the past are constantly being repeated. Wars are an excellent example of this, but we still try to explain why this war or that war really does not fall into the same category as past wars!     Once mankind, went from a nomadic, follow the food source, into an agricultural stay in one place lifecycle everything started to change. Mankind now had a stable place to set down buildings, homes, and all of the necessary requirements, for life to advance. But at a cost of clearing lands for agricultural usage and crop development. No longer dependent on nature to provide a food source that was never as consistent as people would like or need, mankind started to manage their surroundings to improve on it, for their benefit.       All of these requirements multiplied many times over the whole planet, speeding up the mid-term length carbon c

404 Right now Afghanistan is in the news, both because of the U.S. leaving after 20 years, and because of how fast the Afghan army melted away!

Afghanistan, Vietnam, anywhere an invading force goes in to try and tell others how to live will fail. Does anyone think that if China or Russia were to invade the U.S. that we would not continue to fight no matter the odds! Would we have won WWII if the people in each country that Germany had overrun had not waged a silent war from within, but had simply given in and helped Germany to continue their victories!       Does it take a large percentage of the population to do so? No, the largest the force the easier to find and defeat, or to infiltrate and work from within to defeat, this is where many of the most egregious atrocities of any conflict happen on both sides. No matter how we frame why we go into another country with guns, instead of working within the framework of their society any such endeavor is doomed to fail.       The Internet is now being used by many counties to influence perceptions that have little or no relationships to facts, and in doing so have a much larger inf

403 Two years now since I first wrote "life cycle of a planet". Explaining in just 12 pages how life is self limiting on any planet in the universe!

Everything that I have stated, has been worked out by others, mostly in the last 200 years!  With all of the information out there, that I have just put in order, so others could easily and quickly verify. Yet I have seen no evidence that anything is being done on that score. No contact from any of the 10,000 plus hits over that time frame, I have to wonder why!     Why is the Earth slowly cooling down in its core? Its mass seems to be fairly constant "some would even argue that the planet is very slowly increasing its mass due to dust from outer space" and that mass, is what much of the core's heat comes from, my best guess is the breakdown of the radioactive material that was present at the time of the planet's birth, in the beginning, the heat generated by this material would have added a great deal of heat to a very active Earth's core which directly drives the tectonic plates of the crust of the planet! Over the next 4.5 billion years the breakdown of tha

402 For the last 6,000 years river travel by boats and rafts was one of the few way to move heavy loads easily!

But that also required mankind to allow vast amounts of freshwater to flow into seas and oceans where that freshwater could no longer be used for plant life on land to flourish. Billions and billions of dollars of freshwater are lost every day of every year all over the planet with people dying from famine due to the lack of freshwater to grow crops! There are new ways to produce energy that has the ability to move and pump every drop of that water many miles to places that could use all of that water for life to grow. So what are the options? The best option is to divert river water everywhere that it can be diverted, that would use gravity flow and the least pumping action needed to get freshwater to places that will benefit the planet most by replanting and growing both food and ground cover. Then by converting river traffic of boats and ships that would normally move the goods that mankind needs moving to other types of transportation, yes that can still include using water i
