404 Right now Afghanistan is in the news, both because of the U.S. leaving after 20 years, and because of how fast the Afghan army melted away!

Afghanistan, Vietnam, anywhere an invading force goes in to try and tell others how to live will fail. Does anyone think that if China or Russia were to invade the U.S. that we would not continue to fight no matter the odds! Would we have won WWII if the people in each country that Germany had overrun had not waged a silent war from within, but had simply given in and helped Germany to continue their victories!

     Does it take a large percentage of the population to do so? No, the largest the force the easier to find and defeat, or to infiltrate and work from within to defeat, this is where many of the most egregious atrocities of any conflict happen on both sides. No matter how we frame why we go into another country with guns, instead of working within the framework of their society any such endeavor is doomed to fail. 

    The Internet is now being used by many counties to influence perceptions that have little or no relationships to facts, and in doing so have a much larger influence then any terrorist plot could ever have, all they create is to band people together against a common enemy even if that enemy can hide in shadows, leaving behind even more power for the governments in the name of security. All religions have restricted freedom of choice or beliefs, or innovation, because any type of change in a society has always come as a price to any religion. 

    Why am I talking about this? Because any conflict anywhere on the planet will naturally create problems that in any way moves resources, be that people, money, water, rainfall, any type of energy or power source! All of which the "plan" by its very definition will do in a massive way with many people either in direct opposition, or trying to figure out how to make lots of money out of it! Neither, can be allowed for the "plan" to work. 

    The "plan" is designed so that everywhere on the planet people will be able to prosper from its effects, not being limited by climate change or global warming. It allows so many people a new way to look at our planet, and how we can interact with it instead of working around it. There has never been a level playing field for humanity on this planet, "have and have-nots". Perhaps the last opportunity that mankind had was the opening up of the America's (after the native's were killed off or subjugated!) A whole new area, where everyone would be treated as equal under the law (as long as you were a white male with property). 

    The United States flag is a symbol of an idea, that humanity has never been able to live up to! Does that mean we should throw it away or as Benjamin Franklin wanted to do in choosing the turkey over the Eagle as the mascot, knowing that anything created by a "group" can never reach the lofty goals that an Eagle represented? No we need to have perhaps "unattainable goals" to strive for, if only to see the unreachable mountain-top and have the constant reminder of a flag to point the way, but never forget that we are not there yet and "mankind being mankind" we may never be there! I do think that the "plan" can be more then just a lot of people working towards a common goal. Shared dreams, desires, wanting to help your children to have a better life, these are common goals of most of the people of the planet, the "plan" is designed to do just that, while saving all carbon-based life on the planet for as long as mankind can continue being a viable species on this planet! (no mosquitoes are not to be included, we will need to find a different food source for birds that use them)

First, how do scientist's come up with around 50,000 gigatonnes of available carbon left on the planet?
