Global Warming and Climate Change} In what way's will the "town's" for glacier repenishment be different

As in most colder climate around the planet, The growing seasons will be shorter, but the availability of electricity, will be good because of flowing water, also there should not be any need for water clean-up. However, each site will bring it's own challenges, will there be any space for crops, or would there be a need for hot houses to supply fruit's and vegetables. Or will there be a connection between some desert "town" and them for the food that would be needed in amounts that they could not easily supply. Plus the glacier replenishment "town" could also be responsible for flood control down stream, meaning that their need for movement and large equipment may be greater than the replanting "town's". Engineering skills would be more important, for both the creation of dam's and turbines for producing power and pump's that could work year around in extreme conditions. Much of the rest of the communities would  have the same needs, perhaps many of the entertainment pursuits would be quite different, given the two extreme weather conditions that each "town" would face! Again interaction with people from neighboring area's would be very important, to promoting good will and a sense of belonging to the surrounding populations. Because of the nature of the terrain in such "town's" a different system of moving goods and people around, compared to the trains in use in desert and semi-arid area's, would be needed and therefore less efficient, perhaps 4 wheel and tracked vehicles! Or for going down stream, maybe some type of water movement containers could be devised. Since the ability of how much land would be available, for ownership for people working the glacier replenishment, perhaps there would have to be some other places, for those that will have retired. After all is said and done, the different needs that each type of community would have, would perhaps only help in giving each individual a better reason to work at one "town" or the other type of "town". CCLXXIV Global Warming and Climate Change} Let's talk more, about the 50,000 gigatonnes of available carbon, that is left for all life on the planet!

First, how do scientist's come up with around 50,000 gigatonnes of available carbon left on the planet? Some of the amounts can be directly measured, how much there is in the atmosphere is one of the most researched numbers on the planet! That figure of 415 parts per million equals around 800 gigatonnes of carbon, in the form of carbon dioxide. 560 gigatonnes in plant and animal life are based on both satellite images for how much plant life is on the planet during the year and measurements that were taken by hundreds of people every year all around the planet.
