Global Warming and Climate Change} There is so much untap energy, available on this planet!
Mankind has just started down the path of creating a planet that uses so many different types of energy, for life. Much of that has been directed at getting more with less. With transportation, that starts with better fuel economy for personal vehicles, not just by building better engines, but also lighter yet stronger vehicles, with more aerodynamic designs, In housing, better insulation, more efficient appliances, using led lighting, setting the thermostat higher in the summer and lower in the winter, using the sun to bring it heat and trees for shade. Many of these are considered passive, but many are considered active, meaning a hands-on approach is needed. But everything costs money, and many are on a monthly cycle, not because it needs to be that way, but because we are taught that way. What we call big-ticket items, homes or apartment rent, car's, higher education, insurance, phone, t.v., these we learn should be paid overtime. Most of the rest, we pay as we go, food, clothing, entertainment, gasoline, and of course lottery tickets and alcohol. But to try and conform, we miss so much, and if someone tries to point out another way, well we simply will not listen! This is the same with energy choices, we could easily build houses that take no extra energy, to heat or cool, can not burn, or be blow away, but choose conformity instead. As a nation (meaning the USA) we could have chosen mass transportation, instead of individual cars. Living close to work, shopping, entertainment, and schooling, but we do not. We could choose not to wrap everything we buy in bulletproof packaging, or buy it in one use, throw away material, but we don't. We could choose, both as an individual and as a nation, to make it easy to recycle everything, we don't. We could make things last much longer than they do, but we like new things, not the same old reliable thing, so we do not really mind things being temporary. I kind of got off topic here about energy, but I do like to ramble, sorry. Reach me at danielkadavy212@gmail.com or by phone at 402-890-7946 in the USA
