Global Warming and Climate Change} There are so many reason's why, it is so hard to get enough involvement.

First and foremost, it simply takes too much time, to feed, house, and clothes your own family! So few people would have any time to spare, working outside of the home needs, is not really an option. Only the young, and the retired, could do much, one set has no experience and the other has the wrong type of it. No matter how well-intentioned, a person is, signing up for something that you can not do, is asking too much. If it was only a matter of giving money, but where and how much and, we have all been here, will the money go to the right place and make a difference. Or will it go to some thief, or simply someone using most of the monies for private jets and only the minimal toward the cause? I hate to hear when the head of some charity, is making millions and flying around in private planes so that they can attend the next charity function. This makes the news all the time, with little or no change.
So you can understand, when people are hesitant to take on global warming, when there is no firm plan, on how to do it. The only response from the scientific community is to reduce your carbon footprint. But how, the things we buy, are so out of our control in packaging, and even the quality and how long they last. And if they do try and use less packaging and better quality, how do you know. And there seems to always be a premium price to pay, and we are still in the dark about the product. There are many ways that everyone can help reduce our need for the use of fossil fuels, but they pale in comparison to what government and business can both require and do. However, nothing that is being talked about will stop the planet from running out of carbon in a short time frame of between 600 and 6000 years. so what we do now, and the direction that we head into, is of vital importance, not understanding the true nature of the problem that all life on this planet faces, makes mankind seem nothing but shallow. Maybe shallow is not the right word, maybe shortsighted, or simply not interested in anything beyond ourselves.
