Global Warming and Climate Change} Keeping with glacier replenishment.

Glacier replenishment, while it will not cover as much area, as the replanting of the desert's and semi-arid places. Once the snow producing piping is in place and activated, it seems that many thing can go wrong. Mainly because of the condition's that are inherent, in such climates. If I am understanding the problems associated with producing large amounts of snow, piping must be constantly moved, and adjusted for both temperature and on a glacier the movement of the ice itself. Perhaps if a tunnel could be constructed deep under ground (not under ice) and reach up through the very top of mountains then the movement of the glacier would not affect the piping at all. Of course while this would be harder in the beginning, the overall effort would pay dividends over time and should last for many years if installed correctly. The sizes of the pumps even for a small pipe would be many and powerful. perhaps wind and solar with time could answer this problem. Where ever ice would need to be staged, would be in very inhospitable places, far from man's normal environment. This would be especially true at the Antarctic! Not only if we only stage fresh water there, or can we stage sea water with the salts still in it, there seems to be the consensus, that over time frozen salt water become fresh water because the brine really never freezes but go lower and lower through the ice but what would happen if massive amounts of sea ice would be stored on top of fresh water ice? Perhaps it would start to act as a lubricate and cause the glacier to move much faster than normal causing more calving of ice back into the ocean, negating our effort's! Perhaps then we could take old sea ice that has naturally become fresh, and somehow take it inland, or take it north to melt at a pumping station that would pump it deep into the Continent. Hopefully there will be many people working on these problems. too find the best solutions for each different problem as they develop. I was thinking about a tidal or wave pump, if we could take a huge old tanker and put it in a area close to the Antarctic that has very rough seas, and every time a wave would lift this huge old tanker up the weight of the tanker going back down would produce the largest pump for moving water that has ever been made. of course how to keep those types of pressures from blowing up everything. maybe installing hundreds of smaller pumps all with pressure relief values, or having a counter weight that would only come down at a set rate to maintain a set pressure at all time and the up and down motion of the old tanker would realign the counter weight as is done with a grandfather clock.
