Global Warming and Climate Change} When I talk about how many years of carbon dioxide there is on the planet left!

I have to give a wide range even if mankind does not come to the rescue, for all I know is what scientists have found out. That since the start of the ice age that the planet is currently in, around two million five hundred thousand years ago, the planet sequestrated around twenty-five million gigatonnes of carbon, and actions of the planet have returned around seven million five hundred thousand gigatonnes of carbon. for a net loss of seventeen million five-hundred thousand gigatons of carbon. where did all of this carbon dioxide that was sequestrated come from? My best calculating show that only a very small part of it came from the carbon in the soils of the planet and plant and animal life, only about five hundred fifteen gigatonnes, the vast majority than had to come from the oceans of the planet, a whopping, sixteen million nine hundred eight-five thousand gigatonnes of different types of carbon, and carbon dioxide have had to been stored in some form in the oceans of the planet! This means several things, first, it means that throughout history the oceans of the planet acted as both reservoirs of carbon dioxide, and as a giant pump of carbon dioxide to replenish the atmosphere when levels got to low! But that number of when carbon dioxide would be pumped out of the oceans and into the atmosphere has to be only when carbon dioxide levels drop to around 180 to 200 parts per million in the atmosphere! Otherwise, the oceans act as a sponge, but a very very slow sponge. And if I am right an experiment could be devised to prove this very important point. Take two very large enclosed swimming pools of ocean water, and in the first one induce around 10,000 parts per million of carbon dioxide slowly into the air above the water so as to mimic the conditions that would have been found on the planet, meaning that once these two areas, atmosphere, and sea were active, try to simulate what could be expected to have been like, maybe to the point of having fish and oceans plant life included in the experiment. Then in the second swimming pool reverse where the excess carbon is ( I do not know enough about how free carbon is stored in the ocean to tell someone if just adding carbon dioxide into the mix would work or not) Perhaps there are so many variables in all of the oceans of the planet that this experiment will need to be done under many different scenarios! But to see what type of exchange rates between different levels of free carbon. I know that scientist are not supposed to try and make an outcome that they are looking for, and just see what happens but since we do not really know very much about what the planet was like several million years ago, and it would be nice if we could speed up the process a little to see if we can figure out how to repair the planet quickly.
