Global Warming and Climate Change} It is all about "Carbon Sequestration" thoughtout the ages of life on the planet!

Mankind has been "a real work", Wars, hate, backstabbing, pollution, using manifest destiny to find a reason to justify what they do, and many times using God as their cause! But mankind is also love, hope, friendship, family, and using God for their cause! Mankind is also rules to live by, infrastructure, making life many times better than just a hundred years ago. But what mankind is not, is responsible for the loss of the planet's ability to regulate its temperature by using plant life and cloud cover to do that! No, the planet is not a thinking organism, but it has evolved by everything needing to find its own niche and filling all of those niches. But as carbon dioxide in the atmosphere started to limit that life by not being in plentiful enough amounts, around 2.5 million years ago, many of those niches were lost to that very life and holes started to appear in the planet eco-systems! We see the growth of arid and semi-arid areas of the planet, but those are simply the easy empty niches to see, Millions of years ago plant life and the animal life that went with that, was simply amazing in terms of its abundance. (But for mankind it would have been "too much" to live with, talk about survival of the fittest, that would not have been us!) But when we see grasses over our heads nowadays, we think, whoa, this is not somewhere I would want to meet anything bigger than a mouse. Mankind, has no fangs, no ability to sense what is around us, no fur to protect us, no ability to see in the dark, and I think we taste good for everything from ticks and mosquitos to any meat-eater out there. So how are we suppose to see niches in the eco-system, and know what has been lost, due to low levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere? Life is just so much more complex then we can imagine, and how do we make adjustments for niches that were lost millions of years ago? We can"t, but we can design new niches, we have been doing that with farming, dam building, water control, erosion prevention, and a hundred other ways that we use to stabilize our environment, No, we do not always get it right, but we can and do learn, one of our biggest problems is our short memories, we tend not to learn as each generation goes forth, but seem to repeat many of what our last generation did wrong. So as we go forth in fixing problems that we did not cause, we need understanding first, that is why I am trying to point people in the right direction, there are over 7 billion humans on this planet, let's use them and their intelligent,  but to do that we need to truly understand the direction we need to go in. First, how do scientist's come up with around 50,000 gigatonnes of available carbon left on the planet? Some of the amounts can be directly measured, how much there is in the atmosphere is one of the most researched numbers on the planet! That figure of 415 parts per million equals around 800 gigatonnes of carbon, in the form of carbon dioxide. 560 gigatonnes in plant and animal life are based on both satellite images for how much plant life is on the planet during the year and measurements that were taken by hundreds of people every year all around the planet.
