Global Warming and Climate Change} Lets talk a little more about the planet Venus ( many have called Venus "Earth sister planet"!)
Let's look at how Venus and the Earth are different! There are three major differences between these two planets, the first one is how Venus rotates. If you could stand on the surface of the planet you would see the sun, rise in the west and set in the east (without a magnetic north or south how could you find out which way would be considered north?) but it would take around 117 earth days for this to happen while it takes 243 earth days to rotate once on its axis but only 225 days to go around the sun. What this means is that what we consider a year on earth, equals 365 days, while a year on Venus (225 earth days) is a shorter time than a full day an night on Venus. The second major difference is the lack of any water on the planet Venus, which boiled off and then the hydrogen was separated from the oxygen and disappeared into space. The third major difference is that the surface pressure is 92 times that of the Earth and is made up of 96.5% carbon dioxide. With these major differences between the two planets, trying to find a common reason with what is going with our planet is way beyond what we can do at this point in time! These are just the 3 major differences, there are many more, and each difference makes it harder and harder to try and see how we could use either planet to come to some type consensus of how to use the knowledge that we understand from one and use it to tell us something about the other! Also since Venus rotates so slowly, its inner core does not generate a magnetic field, which on our planet protect us from some of the more problematic energy waves that the sun puts out! The planet Mars while quite a bit smaller then our planet, and farther from the Sun could turn out to being much more likely to be able to be colonized than Venus ever could be, even with almost no atmosphere! Thank you for taking the time to read my posts, and passing them on for other to see why the way to repair the planet is only by what I have been explaining! Dan
