Global Warming and Climate Change} Now for something a little different!
What if there is another way to repair some of the climate change causation in a different way? That I have been hesitant to talk about, the reason being that, if it shows to have a positive effect on cloud formation and also rain production downstream of where it occurs. Many people will want to jump on such an opportunity! Since it can only be done over very large bodies of water such as an ocean which if any government would want to do, there would be little other nations could do to stop them since the vast majority of the oceans of the planet are not governed by treaties, once outside the standard 12-mile limit that most counties agree are there's. The idea started with lake effect snows, from around the Great Lakes in the USA, and Canada. If you would take this idea of somehow increasing the amount of water that is evaporated above a large body of water, by introducing miles of fountains of water over certain areas of oceans when winds are moving in the right direction that would do two major things, First, it would slightly cool the remaining waters and Second, it would increase the evaporated rate by many times, and in theory, producing rainfall wherever the air currents take it, just as the wave effect of a hurricane can produce a large amount of water being brought onshore creating torrential rainfall far inland. If this could increase rainfall over areas such as the Sharara Desert, or add needed rainfall over much of Australia, this could increase freshwater in many places around the planet, but it could also cause unexpected flooding if done wrong or the winds change without notice, My real concern is if it could be made to work with results that can be recreated consistently, then governments would take over this practice and feel that they could now reverse much of the negative effects of global warming, and would not feel that anything else would be needed, leaving the planet no better off in the long run as if nothing had been done. My true hope is that this could simply end up being one more way of increasing freshwater for the areas of the planet that needs rainfall the most so that the replanting of such areas is both easier and more reliable, and still kept out of the hands of giant corporations or governments.
