Global Warming and Climate Change} Can one single person really change how people see life?
I have been trying since August of last year, with only limited success 4,700 hits on my blogsite. But no one has really responded. Yes, they read my post (at least I hope that they are reading what they down-load) but no one even comments that I must be out of my mind to believe in what I am writing, nothing! What I am writing about is not Rocket science, or how to make a perpetual motion machine (maybe that would generate some comments) It is a simple observation, of what a planet that has some type of life on it must go through as that life uses up material for that very life, granted we see it every time we throw something away or use something up that we have to replace on a continuing basis such as the need to fill up the gas tank in our cars. In nature, this is harder to see, normally a plant grows, reproduces, dies, and new plants come up, we see this as a perfect cycle of life, and the parent plant does not just reproduce one to replace itself but may produce hundreds of new plants. But what is not as easy to see is that plant that is buried so deep when a hillside gives way after a heavy rain that whatever that plant was made of is now out of that perfect cycle of life! Maybe in a hundred years the carbon that was trapped will be exposed by erosion and brought back into the carbon-cycle, or maybe in a million years, it will still be unavailable. Perpetual motion or perfect recycling is never possible, there is always a loss of something, with the sun giving new energy every day, energy is not the problem, for a farmer, it is the loss of nitrogen or some mineral necessary for a good crop or not enough water. For the planet, it can be almost anything that gets used up and not replaced, but after 3 Billion years of plant life and sea life it is carbon in the most readily available form as the gas "Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere"! But with the loss of around 25% of the planet plant life do to this lack of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, and the deserts and semi-arid areas of the planet where this plant life had been. Rainfall patterns around the planet were changed and cloud cover amounts were no longer enough to reflex the sun's rays back into space, keeping temperature extremes from causing weather extremes! So if anyone out there knows how to go about getting what the planet really needs mankind's help for, please either do it or tell me how to do it. This is not something one person can do on their own. I have the right plan to repair life, not the right contacts to make that happen!
