CCLXII Global Warming and Climate Change} Mankind is at a crossroads, in many more ways then how to treat Global Warming!

But the only one that I can try and treat, is also the most important one, for the continuation of "the vast majority of life on this planet". I will be the first to confess that in the years to come, someone else will begin to understand what has really been going on with the sequestration of carbon over the last 3 billion years of a carbon-based lifeform planet. The sooner that we begin to understand and convince others the better, and not just for the planet, but also for mankind, the lives we can save, and the quality of those lives, the money that can be made, yes made not wasted! And the new trust that governments can gain, by willing to begin working with all of the governments of the planet towards a common goal! This is an area that the vast percentage of governments of the planet are in short supply of, and by embracing both the science and economy of this plan they can quickly win back some trust. The only requirement that they will have to accept is that the "plan" works only if no money has to change hands so that there will be less chance of corruption from with-in or with-out! What will happen if mankind does not do the "plan" for 100 years? What the majority of scientists say will happen, will happen, more extreme weather, rising sea levels, the continuation of drought caused fires, flash flooding, this is even if we make a good "show" of fixing the problem because we will only be treating the systems, and not the cause! We will start spending billions of dollars on infrastructure, such as seawalls, tidal barriers, raising roadways, cutting huge firebreaks in fire-prone forests, increase dams sizes, and placements for flood controls, all done by major corporations at high costs and little use except during extreme weather events, that none of these solutions make any attempt at controlling! Closing the barn door after the horse got out, will only keep the next horse in. Perhaps it should be building a barn door after the first horse got out, would be a more apt description. This "Plan" is an excellent plan, it treats the symptoms, as fast as any plan could! It "cures" in an ongoing fashion, the problem caused by 3 billion years of carbon sequestration, it is a beautiful way of solving an ever-ongoing refugee problem, it solves the rising sea level and melting glaciers and ice problems, it stops red tide in the gulfs and oceans, it stops almost all of the pollution of those same oceans, it increases the food supplies around the globe and therefore decreases the food shortages, it gives millions upon millions of people and families around the world a chance for a better and more fulfilling life, (in my opinion), and it replaces water from shrinking glaciers to increase downstream flows for both agriculture and human consumption. And perhaps the best part is that after just a few years it pays for itself, and then starts to bring income from all of these new modern farms into the world's economy! Now, how many wins is that? The one downside is that corporation will not profit on the backs of taxpayers around the planet!
