CCLXXI Global Warming and Climate change} When someone has invested much of their life and professional identity, into a point of view!

That it would be very hard to even look at a different way of thinking! Me I build homes, and take down old buildings, so that the beautiful, and distinctive old wood, can shine again. I love either building something or helping others to be able to build something different! My whole life was never tied up in Global Warming and how to fix it. I was just fascinated, by the causes of the ice-ages, ever since I heard about them as a little kid! Yes like every boy I loved dinosaurs, but everyone did, and a lot more effort was put into understanding all about them, just because of their size and the imagination of kids about the largest, fastest, meanest, whatever, to have lived on the Earth. Just look at how many people watch shark week every year. But the why, how, when, of such a massive change to this planet all caused by ice. And on a repetitive timeline, that suddenly was not being repeated, WHY! (as if suddenly, is an extra 2000-3000 years of an inter-glacier phase?) Science has made huge leaps forward since I was a boy, ice-coring, sediment corning, coming to terms with much of our planet's history, but 4.5 Billion years is a lot to cover, there simply is not enough years to a person life to begin to understand a fraction of the past, let alone all of the inter-relationships that something the size of this planet has to offer. There is no reason that anyone should be sorry for missing the true nature of what sequestration of carbon by life itself and what changes to the planet's ability to regulate its temperature, rainfall, cloud-cover, were cause by that lost, then take into consideration the chances that mankind just "happen to come into our own" at the right time to be able to make the necessary repairs to the planet in what mathematicians would call "most extraordinary timing" it is no wonder that what I am talking about is failing to produce comments. A cute kitten, impossibly hard stunts, the smiles that a child can cause, these are relatively normal occurrences. The prevention of a whole world dying, while seen in movies , staring James Bond, or the Justice Leaque, never is shown as simply the long slow lost of one of life most important needs, and how simply replacing it will not solve the problem. but only cause other problems to develop due to the inter-actions and re-actions of all life. But there will always be those who will use our lack of understanding of some of the most complicated processes on the planets, as a way of dividing each other, either for there own profit, or to try and belittle someone or someway of thinking, because it may make them feel important, or better than others. Just another type of bullying, by insecure people who need to yell and not talk, because their own idea fail if truly talked about.
