CCCVII Global Warming and Climate Change} Why are we so reticent, when it comes to pushing forward with new ideas and plans?
I have never been one that cared very much about money. As long as I paid my bills, could help people with their own homes by building nice homes very cheap, by doing everything, drawn the plans, get the permits, put in the footers, and foundations, frame it, side and roof it, run the plumbing, and electrical, install the heating and air condition, hang the drywall, (yes I would have others tape and texture and paint it) then put in the flooring, doors, and windows, pour the driveway, plant the grass or sod, and install the mailbox! In doing so I would sometimes need to be the owner/builder, other times there was no need for permits when I was younger, and many places did not require them! Working this way I did not have to interact with many people, inspectors would come in a few times every month and when something was being built by owner, they would require more. That never turned into a problem as everything that I did was just a little better than what was required. A few times I would have to pay structural engineers to put their stamps on something I would design, but that was never very often. Sometimes I would get electricians mad at me on larger jobs for complexes I was in charge of, because I would be doing things that they felt they, should be paid for. So you can see I was never very good at playing straight and narrow, by the rules. My motto was "do it right but do it cheap" Nothing that I can think of or ever came back to bite me, but the first time I replaced a brick wall, I did it for free to learn how to lay brick, that was one ugly wall when I got done, and it is still there 35 years later, but I do not live there anymore, so no worries! But this "plan" on how to repair our planet is nothing I have even contemplated, I simply saw what needed to be done and why, I found a "plan" that would accomplish every single thing, that has to happen, to do what needs to be done, and the human power to do so! But I have never needed to convince people to do almost anything, I was always the one doing it! The only comment that a few "friends" have made is that it is too ambitious and am I going to completely switch gears at my age (64) and start convincing the world, that what most scientists believe mankind has caused "is not what it seems"! What answer can I have to that, what is my alternative! Do I simply pretend that what I have figured out is not important, I do believe that sooner or later mankind will have to come to the same conclusions as I have, but how do you then try and convince humanity, that whoops we made a mistake and the trillions of dollars that we made everyone invest in was wrong and this is how we need to repair the planet now! Not even talking about the lives lost, people's futures ruined when a "plan" was already there from years earlier that had it been acted on when designed would have made this planet into a paradise for so many of us including almost all carbon-based life ( not counting mosquitoes and other bloodsuckers, those would be history according to the ability of the human race to bring that about)! How do I go forward when so few people seem to even be willing to read a 12-page paper "Life cycle of a planet by dan kadavy" (234 downloads in 16 months to date) I am not even slightly computer savvy, I have sent information to over 30 people and companies who are supposed to be very active in Global Warming and Climate Change, "NO RESPOND" (well a few have e-mailed me by saying that this is not their area of expertise, well this is NO ONE's area of expertise, I am simply bringing forth what our planet has been going through since carbon-based life started over 3 billion years ago CARBON SEQUESTRATION to the tune of over 100,000,000 gigatonnes leaving less than 50,000 gigatonnes on the whole planet in any type of form that life can use!)
