333 Global Warming and Climate Change} The Nile in Egypt is one of the heaviest used great rivers of the planet!

         Which leaves only around 13 cubic kilometers of available water for use in a years time,  or converts to around 8.1 cubic miles in a normal year, while the rest of Europe drains around 308 cubic kilometers into the Mediterranean sea, on average each year or 192 cubic miles of freshwater each year. The trick is getting the freshwater from the north shore of the Mediterranean sea into the Sahara Desert. Underwater pipes, Supertankers, these could be the old single-hull tankers that are no longer allowed to be used as oil or fuel transports, Piping would be the best options because we would not even need pumping stations if the water on the northern end was collected high enough to allow gravity to move it across the sea. Once those pipes were installed the only pumping would be required once on the southern shores.                                                    There are areas in Europe, that are both arid and semi-arid and need to have first dips on the water that flows from that continent, only after Europes needs are met can any excess be sent elsewhere, but every gallon of water that is not needed for Europe, should not be allowed to flow into the Mediterranean Sea, there it becomes pollution! This is not clean fresh water at this point, it is all of the silts and clays, fertilizers, chemicals, plastics, that mankind has allowed into the water over the thousands of miles that much of it has traveled! The clean-up, that would be required to produce clean drinking water, is many times harder, and more expensive, than for agricultural uses. While places that may make a better response on regaining the planet's temperature-regulating-abilities are important, Mankind always looks out for themselves before others, meaning that we need to be realistic and not expect countries to give any freshwater away until it is just about to enter the seas or oceans. Even then I am sure that someone will want their country (or themselves) to be paid in some way because we are taking their natural resources away, We need to tell them that we really should be charging them for the cost of the clean-up since they did not do it when they had the responsibility to do so.                                                                                                                                  I am So glad that I am not a politician, I am also glad that I am not a scientist, from what I understand the inter-working of any organization, is simply "The Peter Principle" in action! That is why, we the people need to put forth our voices, and not wait for the slow wheels of whatever organization, feels that they need to be in charge, and then wait ten years for them to decide!
