8 Here mankind set's at the most crucial point in the "Planet's" history! And there truly are many things that we have to worry about.

Many of the planet's problems are "manmade", pollution of the "Oceans by plastics, fertilizer run-offs, chemical disposal"! Pollution is mankind's largest injury to this planet that we need to repair!                                  Yes, in mankind's attempt to harness the planet's resources we have caused the extinction of many species, and the reduction of many more species. Mankind's attempt to satisfy our needs for food and energy has driven nature away from us and into areas that we seldom go to. But we have also learned much from our mistakes, most places in the world now have at least some guidelines on reducing and repairing some of those mistakes, granted many of these are not for nature's benefit but so that our own enjoyment of the planet is better!                                                                                                                                                                      Mankind has decided over the years, that we needed a way to organize ourselves into a hierarchy of both individuals and socialities, and "money" became how we accomplished that. We did not use a person's intelligence, or ability to form a consensus, or even choose the lead hunter because he was the best hunter, instead, we choose those among us who have the most "money" to lead. In "World War II" the German people did not choose Hitler because his "Ideas" were what they believe in, but because he offered a way out of the poverty and inability to lead a decent life that the result's of World War I was forced upon them by Europe. Hitler was simply the one who could give jobs, and a sense of need, and safety for families. To blame the common German Citizen for the lies, the murder, and the atrocities, committed by the ruling "Nazi party", would have been very misguided.                                                                                                                 Money as a reason to follow a certain course of action is now an end-all solution to most discussions. Terms such as "we can not afford to" or "the budget does not allow", or better yet "no one in their right mind would spend money to help someone who should be helping themselves because they should not have left their home in the first place".                                                                                                                                 All of these mistakes can be squarely placed at the foot of mankind! But Global Warming and Climate Change can not also be placed at mankind's feet. Yes, Global Warming and Climate Change are true and happening and need to be quickly addressed. However, mankind can be considered the only species on the planet that can repair a problem 3 billion years in the making.                                                                                Understanding the true nature of "carbon sequestration" is not that difficult, we need to simply be pointed in the right direction with the knowledge that we already possess, by the work of thousands of scientists over the last 100 years! The disconnect that we have between gathered works and putting these works into chronological order, is somewhat caused by money and the theology of social thought.                    Jumping on "the bandwagon" once done is very hard to un-jump because we have invested part of ourselves in staking such a position, that to un-jump seems to be moving backwards. Only by using the utmost reasonability can we change views, and mankind is not known for that ability, How many years did it take for mankind to realize the following, the world is round, the sun does not rotate around us, illnesses are not caused by the devil or doing or thinking bad things, who we love is no one else's right to determine but those involved, (okay we still do not understand that one). The point is that we are very bad at learning, or I should say, willing to learn something new!                                                                                                             The simple fact is that no matter how efficient any "Planet in the Universe" is at recycling, whatever life needs to continue that life, cannot be 100%. Our own Planet has sequestrated over 100,000,000 gigatonnes of carbon that was once available for life to use. (1 gigaton is equal to 1 billion tons) and scientists have calculated that there are less than 50,000 gigatonnes of "available carbon" left on the whole planet to use for all carbon-based life. This means that .998% of all of the carbon that was once available for life on the planet, is still on the planet, but no longer in a form that life can use! Or another way of looking at this is, only .002% is still in some form that all life has access to. The question then becomes when is too little "too little"?                                                                                                                                                        While that may seem like a difficult question to answer it really is not hard to answer at all! The answer starts with what C-3 plant life needs to survive, this level is around 150 parts per million in the atmosphere of carbon dioxide. But it does not end there, at 150 ppm C-3 plants yield very little at harvest, the higher the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere the greater yield at harvest, everything else being the same. Since the late 1970s, wheat harvest yields have gone up almost 50% and in that same time frame, carbon dioxide levels have risen around 80 ppm from around 330 ppm to 410 ppm now, easy to see that is a very large gain towards feeding the planet population. Not all C-3 plants show such a large increase, but all C-3 plants show some increase in yields. When an ice age starts up, on the planet, the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is always between 200 and 220 parts per million in the atmosphere, the variation is based on where in the Milankovitch cycles the planet is at. Even with all of this being said, the true defining number for the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is what level do we need with abundant plant life so all areas of the planet that can sustain plants, can do so. Only mankind's appearance on the planet in large enough numbers, and their changing from hunter-gathers to an agricultural-based lifestyle, did mankind alter the composition of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere enough, to delay the start of what would have been the next and never-ending ice-age!                                                                                                                                    Now let's take mankind out of the equation, right now there are around 415 parts per million of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere of the planet, and the planet sequestration rate has been estimated at 10 gigatonnes per year while the planet's tectonic plate movement returns around 3 gigatonnes on average every year, meaning an average sequestration rate of around 7 gigatonnes every year, now comes the hardest to understand part, we need to think of the oceans of our planet as a giant cell with the rain and rivers as transfer points yet they only bring in necessary nutrients and waste by-product from the air and land, they only remove material from the cell as gases, as water is evaporated. This means, that carbon dioxide can transfer in relatively large quantity from the air and land into the seas and oceans of the planet, and yet it does not happen in reverse, carbon dioxide from the oceans and seas into the atmosphere except via evaporation, which only happens in large quantities during the ice-ages as massive amounts of ocean and seawater is evaporated into the atmosphere to feed the growth of miles tall glaciers on much of the northern and southern hemispheres of the planet. The loss of around 7 gigatonnes of what was once available carbon every year transfers into a loss of 2 parts per million of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. so in around 100 years, 415 parts per million turns into only 215 parts per million and the start of another (and final) ice-age. With less than 50,000 gigatonnes of available carbon left on the planet, and the planet continues to sequester carbon the normal 100,000-year time frame of how long an ice-age lasts, will have used up any available carbon many thousands of years before that! Mankind truly is the only chance that this planet, the only planet mankind can call home, has. Meaning that we owe all carbon-based life on the planet, to remain a viable species, otherwise we do not just doom ourselves, but "all carbon-based life" on the planet. Were we nature's last hope for life to continue, or was our appearance simply a remarkable concurrence of events without apparent connection! Who would ever know!!! If I fail at getting mankind to understand what this planet is truly going through, will I bear the responsibility for such an occurrence? For I do think that I understand how hard it is to try and stop any conflict that mankind has entered into in our long and bloody history, I was hoping that the "INTERNET" would be able to help overcome the difficulty of connecting with people on such a profoundly important subject! But in the last 18 months no luck at all! Dan, in the USA, call me at 402-890-7946, or danielkadavy212@gmail.com, or better yet TELL OTHERS!!!
