F Geo-engineering, First off what do I believe that geo-engineering means? It means that mankind continues altering its environment since forever!

        There never has been a species on this planet that has not caused some type of change to occur because of it being on the planet! Sometimes many species will cause certain changes to occur faster because so many are competing for the same limited amount of food, many times others will find a special niche that few can take advantage of and in doing so limit the amount of competition that they will need to face for the next generation to continue. Many will even learn how to attract other species of life so that they can compete better and in doing so form a symbiotic relationship that may only help one of the pair or be beneficial to both. No species on the planet form more of these types of relationships than mankind, and in doing so we cause unexpected changes to occur that affects the planet at every level.  

     How we go forward in the next few decades, will either show that we are beginning to understand what all carbon-based life on the planet is facing, or it will simply be a continuation of enough people yelling and screaming that mankind is basically evil and terrible and we need to change our way's before we kill the whole planet! This would be called responding to a gut reaction with a very real reason that yes mankind's pollution of the planet has shown us to be a very poor steward of the planet in many ways, and it is always's been based on money and greed "but also sometimes simply ignorance". So we have been proven many times as a greedy non-caring species. However, "unknowingly" we have done much to keep the carbon cycle of the planet healthy enough to allow us to go forward and work with the planet's resources to re-establish enough of the temperature regulation abilities of the planet to begin limiting extreme temperature and the corresponding extreme weather!                                        

    Without mankind's geoengineering of this planet, much of life would be vastly different than it is now. Yet most people see very little of these changes because either they happen so slowly, or that they grew up with the change already so ingrained in life that they believe that it always was so. Had mankind not geo-engineered the planet as we have, all life would simply be that much closer to extinction than it is now! You have heard me say that "Our Planet" is facing the final challenge that any planet in the universe will come up against sooner or later as life itself causes the sequestration of materials for that very life to continue! Since life first started on this planet, constant changes by that life have altered the way each generation had needed to adapt, to change, to learn to cope with what the previous forms of life have either made available or removed from use! We can either accept the facts that change and the need to adapt is inevitable for us, and in so doing help all life to continue, or we can pretend that everything is copacetic, and it is mankind who is and always has been simply a parasite on this planet and in so doing condemn all carbon-based life to slowly fade from this planet and for the planet's life to enter the final phase of its existence as a total frozen over rock traveling thru space empty just as all other planets will do, without a thinking and active species taking charge to prevent this from happening elsewhere out in the great Universe. We now know that life is a rare commodity in the universe, let us not allow ours to follow that trend! First, how do scientist's come up with around 50,000 gigatonnes of available carbon left on the planet?
