N is for NO, never, not in my backyard, no is one of the first words we learn as a child. It even has defined Nations, systems, and crowd control!

What should be the first response when the citizens of a town have a serious grievance with some part of the town's administration, that needs a very quick response? The first example that comes to mind is when someone is shot by a policeman especially if it was a person of color. If the weather is okay to do so, then those in control of the party's involved should all met in a location chosen by the citizens of the town, with no podiums or stands to make others more important than anyone else. A system of microphones placed in as many places as possible so as many people as possible could speak, Yes there would be people in charge of who can speak with the microphone to keep some order, I would recommend the media would be in charge of that including print, television, and social media such as you see on-line. Cameras should be placed so that in a large gathering everyone could see what was being discussed. People have to decide are we truly a representative government, or are we governed by the government. What that means, are the people that hold power in a society acting on behalf of that society, or are they telling that society how they need to behave to their beliefs, or else. Right now it seems the second way, not the first way. I was listening to congress and their reactions to what happened on January 6th at the capital, and while I am no fan of Trump, I do believe that how the capital police keep their cool and while making sure that everyone in congress made it to safety few people were hurt and little damage was done, yes I believe 6 people died, but isn't that better then 500 people had the police fired upon the crowd, as what would have happened if this had been Myanmar! or some other place that allows no dissension of the government. If only how the protestors were treated with the "black lives matters" movement was as non-confrontational as the January 6th protest then perhaps there could actually be a civil dialog started in this country about past and present treatment of people of color and not the white population hiding their heads in the sand, as if separate but equal was ever equal anywhere on the planet, whether we are talking religion, or place of birth, or the color of one's skin, or the language that people speak! "Hate Speech" especially from leaders of a nation must never be allowed, once someone is given some form of power over others, they must be held to a higher standard of civility, and conduct than the general population. This includes police even more than many other groups of people, as they can hold someone's life in their very hands. Dan
