_Q_ part 2 continuation of questions that would be raised by why the "Plan" is the only way forward!

        I have explained what the weather and atmosphere were like when dinosaurs ruled the planet and why low carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, started the planet into a "cyclical in nature" series of ice-ages with their corresponding inter-glacial periods that mankind has "unwitting and yet thankfully" caused to continue for the foreseeable future! Just as necessarily drove mankind introduction of massive use of agriculture to both feed a growing population, and prevent the loss of most animals of the planet by overhunting, this same drive to increase and multiply, required mankind to learn to adapt the resources of the planet for our benefit.         All actions have unintended consequences, some are minor and many are much more encompassing and far-reaching, with both benefits and harm caused! When I was young, the chances of a nuclear war were already becoming less likely, but still one of mankind's greatest concerns. But you could not go a month without some article in the paper or on television complaining about pollution of the planet and automobile exhaust as one of the leading causes, Mankind has gone to some length to stop many of the leading causes of manmade pollution, and while there is much that still needs to be done, especially with the pollution of the waters of the planet, we have in many places made good progress, but what is considered pollution for some is food for others! I was told by several teachers when young that many experts felt that it was only a matter of time before trees and gardens would no longer be able to grow within large city limits because of the pollution from automobile exhaust, well that was in the early 1960s' and we now know that automobile exhaust is good for plant life but not so good for things that use lungs to breathe oxygen, and mankind is one of those "things". Unchecked warming of the planet will cause great distress for mankind, yet will be a benefit for much of life! There is more at stake than just trying to find a balance, for as long as mankind remains a viable species on the planet only we have the ability to redirect all carbon-based life on the planet and the weather that will go with life. If mankind is removed from the planet or is reduced in our ability to affect the planet, then within just a few hundred years, the direction set by the sequestration of carbon will no longer have been nullified, by mankind's action and the planet will enter into the next and final ice age until the whole planet will become a giant frozen rock circling the sun forevermore.
