390 Do we want to save the planet and all carbon-based life that lives on Earth? That answer must be "YES" The only way to do that is to recycle!
And I mean everything, for the last 3 billion years that there has been life on this planet, the planet has created life and has also slowly locked a very small percentage of that life away! You who have been following my post would know that I have explained how carbon mainly in the form of carbon dioxide has slowly been sequestrated away from the very life that needs it to survive and the only reason that there is still so much carbon-based life on the planet is because of how much carbon was first available on this planet in the beginning! But carbon is not the only, material that is moved from one part of the lifecycle of a planet to somewhere that it becomes harder for life to use it. Mountains have been raised and weathered away, during periods shorter than an "eon" but now, everything is happening at a faster pace because mankind's is terraforming the planet in so many different ways, the vast majority is due to the need for agriculture to feed a population of over 7 billion people, but energy use of rivers and dams, housing needs, transportation, all of the requirements a very large population demands are at the center of this terraformation of the planet. Now you may think that I am against this, but no, mankind needs to do much more in a very science-driven way so that we can correctly repair the planet so that all carbon-based life can continue as long as mankind remains a viable species on the planet! Only by stopping the erosion of the soils of the planet, from over-cultivation and water erosion, by preventing any freshwater from entering the seas and oceans of the planet, and using all of the materials that would have left the land and been removed from use can we start replanting the arid and semi-arid areas of the planet, increasing dramatically the crop bearing profile of the planet. In so doing we would be doing exactly what most of the scientistic community wants us to do to remove, carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, clean up the seas and oceans of the planet, and begin reducing the severe temperature-related extreme weather of the planet! There are several other materials that their reductions are beginning to hamper plant growth. Low iron levels are responsible for deserts in parts of the oceans, mankind's intense farming practices have resulted in shortages of many types of micro-nutrients in farm soil's, the list's of elements that have been sequestrated from life's use continues to get longer, even oxygen in the waters of the planet has become a limiting factor in the amount of all life that can be supported. Mankind is the "ONLY" species on the planet that has the ability to both overcome these shortages, and rebuild lost environmentally needed conditions!
