396 Almost to 400 posts and 10,000 hits. One is a lot the other not so much. What does mankind owe the Planet? Absolutely everything!

     I have been both trying to, and talking to others, about putting all of my posts together in a book-type form. But with as little feedback I have received over the last two years, from the 10,000 hits to my blog site, why should I expect a book to be a better way to communicate? I have hundreds of thousands of words on my site, and no feedback either positive or negative, yet some people are reading because of the 10,000 hits. If no one is willing to tell others about "life cycle of a planet" by Daniel James Kadavy how can I reach people? 20 years ago I knew several people who respected my ability to build just about every type of building and therefore trusted my judgment and were well known in the business community, sadly they all have died. Those who are left, care little about how well a building is built as long as it is pretty and they can collect money, so they can live the good life. 

    Global Warming and Climate Change is all over the news almost every day with people only caring about how they can make money on the situation. If not let others take the lead, it means little in their daily living. Why worry much about drought and wildfires, that is what insurance is for and it may even mean more work down the line for them. If they build, sell materials, work in any industry that will supply needed items, and that list is long and complex. It all ends up as money in their pocket somewhere down the road. So why get worked up on something that they can do very little to make any difference about?

    Bill Gates and many others have already put out plans to mitigate some of the worst aspects and since they have more money than most countries, they can make a difference, but since they do not even understand what the true problem that the planet is facing, any corrective action on their part may only create the illusion of making a true difference!

    With all of the people who have read some of my posts, someone must know a better way of getting this information broadcasted to the world at large, I have always heard that what is needed for a conversation to be started is for people to tell at least one other, and the snowball effort will take over (at least until the next interesting cat photo op takes off) we do seem to run into that 20-second soundbite attention span problem, to kick in! If "ANYONE" out there can help, please do so, it sometimes feels like no one is listening or if they are it is only for the slight information high that they receive. Dan

503 DIII Humanity is the only species that have to pay to live and survive. while there are a few exceptions to this rule, they are few and far between!

CCLXXIV Global Warming and Climate Change} Let's talk more, about the 50,000 gigatonnes of available carbon, that is left for all life on the planet!

First, how do scientist's come up with around 50,000 gigatonnes of available carbon left on the planet? Some of the amounts can be directly measured, how much there is in the atmosphere is one of the most researched numbers on the planet! That figure of 415 parts per million equals around 800 gigatonnes of carbon, in the form of carbon dioxide. 560 gigatonnes in plant and animal life are based on both satellite images for how much plant life is on the planet during the year and measurements that were taken by hundreds of people every year all around the planet.
