414 How mankind deals with shortages of water, nutrients, and other needs for agricultural productions are in many ways the same.
As the planet has done for billions of years, or perhaps better seen as how plant life has adapted to changing conditions. While mankind tries to directly affect the growing conditions, too much sunlight, puts a cover over the plants, the planet increases cloud-cover to do the same. Not enough natural rainfall, bring in outside moisture, the planet uses the respiration of the plants themselves to increase rainfall. Not enough nutrients in the soils, due to mankind removal of plant life to feed animals and people, the planet removes little nutrients except by surface erosion so most nutrients remain in the soils. Plantlife that is eaten by animals is still returned back to the soils simply a bit farther away from where it was used at. Mankind needs to constantly replace nutrients that are the very reason for growing crops or livestock so that those nutrients are used for life, but instead of recycling those nutrients back onto the land they were removed from, we simply bring in more fertilizers to do so. This ends up leaving many of the micronutrients in short supply as they are seldom replaced, meaning that some important natural occurring nutrients are less available as times go by.
Our sewer systems in most places of the planet can easily be converted back to recycling our waste products onto our farmlands, but we like our waste "out of sight, out of mind". So we use bacteria to decompose and get rid of, which could and should be a valuable resource returned directly back onto farmlands!
Israel is very good at growing a lot of food with minimal water, but unfortunately, that does not help nature's temperature-regulating ability. The same can be said of many areas of the planet that mankind has learned to grow food with little water.
It is cloud coverage that has always been how a higher level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere of the planet has been able to balance temperatures, so extremes are kept to a minimum. This worked very well for many millions of years. With the resulting rainfall around the planet much more consistent and more gentle rainfalls. This is how this beautiful planet handled carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere many times higher than present without the extreme weather that we have come to associate with increasing levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
What mankind wants is what it knows, and we do not do well with the unknown, even if there is a lot of information out there on what this planet was like, millions of years ago. Taking direct charge of how this planet goes forth, is so much better than simply hoping, that the planet will be able to address the issues it faces without mankind, which is a futile belief!
Ladies and Gentlemen, I can not do "this" without massive involvement from you. There are simply too many people who would love to make millions and millions of dollars off of Global Warming and Climate Change by any means possible to do so. None of which will do what needs to be done to rebuild the planet's temperature-regulating abilities. Nor will it improve countless millions of people and families' lives, as the "plan" will do. It will only make the have and the have-nots that much farther apart. Let's actually do some real good for both mankind and the planet at the same time!
