448 There is so much talk right now, of mechanically removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere at a cost of billions of dollars!

     And then bury it deep within old wells and caves! Guys not only do we already do this every day as we throw trash away into the millions of landfills around the planet, but we end up reducing the amount of time our planet has left, by sequestration even more carbon away from what carbon-based life needs to live!

    This would fall into the same category as saying that war, famines, and disease, are very important means of population control. The same mentality as the Neutron Bomb which quickly killing radiation removes the people but leaves the infrastructure in place! I understand that many people may feel that all of the above can have beneficial aspects for the remaining peoples of the planet, but at what cost to who we what to be as a species!

    Are we just another species on the planet that has to survive by the motto "eat or be eaten"! So many times in the past, one group would defeat another and afterward destroy all of the knowledge that the defeated had collected. How much further advanced would mankind be if we did not have to relearn so many things, or simply allow knowledge to be passed on from one generation to the next without telling so many of us, that knowledge is not needed for you to be a benefit to society! How many of them could have made mankind a better and more just world, if only they had been given a chance?

    Not just wasting billions of dollars burying removed carbon from the atmosphere, but increasing plant life by using the "plan" will lock so much of that same carbon into the root zone where future generations will still have access to it!

        With enough "spin," almost any idea can make people believe in a non-sensical idea, we have never taught each other how to break down information so that we can decide the pros and cons before agreeing or disagreeing with it! Instead, we let people that we have aligned ourselves with, do the "heavy thinking"!
