460 CDLX There is so much history of new knowledge being brought forth by people not educated in the field of study being discussed.
One of the reason's for this I believe, is the ability to bring forth ideas that have not already been set in stone, by those who went before! There is a thought process that goes something like this, when someone has been taught a certain way of looking at things, that begins to limit the directions that can be followed in finding solutions or even what the initial belief is. We all have heard, "we need to think outside the box" the box is a representation of known knowledge and solutions, so to think outside the box means we need the look at what we think we know and say what if that is what we need to do is not right, to begin with, or the direction we desire to go. When computers first came out we would say that the computer was always right, forgetting that the computer could only make use of what was programmed into it. We started calling that "Garbage in Garbage out", yet another alternative was that we could not or did not, understand what the computer was telling us. A good example of this was the computer design of a very long flat trussed building in Minnesota where the trusses were designed not only as a two-dimensional truss but as a 3-dimensional design that the individuals reading the design did not understand, 40 years later that "Mall" roof collapsed and only by going back to the original design did it become obvious what had happened.
We use the term "wisdom of the crowd" to say basically that many minds are better than one mind in solving problems, but with a caveat saying this only works for problems that the average person has some understanding of. It does not work on "string theory" or man-made-up concepts of the "origin of man by God or God's" So does it then stand to reason that solving how life works in relation to concepts of perpetual motion ability to not exist without outside interference or in our case inside interference, where the whole planet is the only working model for life that we know of? I am always talking in circles when it comes to how to repair the planet if we are all interested in maintaining abundant carbon-based life on it. And therefore coming back around to the "plan" as the only way forward in doing so. But there are so many impediments placed in the way, the one I seem to be coming up against right now is, who should be listened to, and what letters should be after their name? Or at the very least who influences them?
I have no letters after my name, I am many things, Father, Husband, Home Builder, Electrician, Plumber, Brick and Block Layer, Digger of Footing and Foundations, Whatever is needed to completely build a home I do. But does that qualify me to speak about how to repair the planet, perhaps not, but the knowledge that I have gained over my lifetime of studying why ice ages would come and then go, has given me a unique insight into the Earth's loss of it temperature-regulating abilities due to carbon sequestration for the last 3.5 billion years.
The fact that mankind's appearance on the planet did not stop the next ice age from developing. Only when mankind advanced enough both in population and in their abilities to control their environment, by becoming an agricultural-based society did we start the slow process of increasing enough carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to really delay the start of the next and what would of ending up being the last and never-ending ice age because the available carbon dioxide on the planet would never have been even close to stopping it. An average ice age is around 100,000 years long and at a carbon loss due to sequestration average around 10 gigatonnes per year while tectonic plates movement only return around 3 gigatonnes per year for an average net loss of 7 gigatonnes per year times 100,000 years is equal to 700,000 gigatonnes just to keep the status quo. However, scientists have estimated that there are less than 50,000 gigatonnes on the whole planet that is in a form that life can use. Once we had used up the mid-term carbon storage of trees, without using fossil-fueled and making concrete the planet would have less than 350 years before that end-all ice age would happen!
Scientist's have all of the numbers the same as I do, yet they cannot wrap their heads around what this means, it means that every planet in the Universe will sooner or later need a thinking and acting species to keep their planet's life alive. Even if that does not mean running out of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, perpetual motion even on a planetary scale and with an outside energy source supplying un-limited sunlight, life will run out of something that whatever their life needs to survive will become unavailable! Yet how did mankind just happen on the scene something like 1-2 million years ago which is just a blick of an eye in geological time! And think of all of the extinction events that had to happen at just the right time for mankind to be able to evolve or adapt in time? Well, that is a question for someone much smarter than me to figure out.
