480 I have been reading so much on what scientist are guessing about the atmosphere of the planet when carbon based life first started! The highest level they are talking about is 10 atmospheres of carbon!
How can we understand what the planet is facing if we can not even use the current atmospheres of the other planets in the solar system as a starting point? There are three things that affect a planet's atmospheric content, 1) the gravity of the planet in question, 2) the amount of solar winds from the Sun that can continually remove part of the atmosphere, 3) and by far, whether there is or has been abundant life on the planet in question. The only planet in our solar system that needs to use all three is Earth!!!
200,000,000 gigatonnes of carbon are the amount of carbon that is on Earth (at least) this number is arrived at by using the planet Venus as the baseline! There may be more but there will not be less. Scientists have calculated that there are now around 800 gigatonnes in the planet's atmosphere, 39,000 gigatonnes in the waters of the planet, 4,000 gigatonnes of fossil fuels, 560 gigatonnes as plant and animal life, 1500 gigatonnes as soil carbon for a total of 45,860 gigatonnes of AVAILABLE CARBON LEFT FOR ALL LIFE ON THE PLANET TO USE! .000023% that is all that is left for keeping the planet warm, plant life to use for continuing life, and everything else that uses carbon dioxide to exist! And we are being continually told that the "CARBON CYCLE IS PERFECT" It is NOT! The remaining unavailable carbon all 199,954,140 gigatonnes are locked away, only to be brought back at the rate of 3 gigatonnes per year by the movement of plate tectonics, yet carbon sequestration is around 10 gigatonnes per year!
The big question that scientists seem to keep asking is "How life could have started in the first place?" That question does not matter in the least when we are talking about what the planet is facing NOW! We know that it started and we know that every extinction event in the planet's history "BUT ONE that pesky asteroid " was all caused by ever-slowly changing levels of gasses in the planet's atmosphere!
How the planet maintains a surface temperature that is both conducive to life and prevents either overheating or cooling has to be what scientists need to be concerned with! The production of so many arid and semi-arid areas of the planet by the slow dwindling of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere has been the cause of much of the planet's overheating. Because Sunlight's conversion into infrared light warms the planet directly, this only happens as Sunlight hits unprotected soils and is reflexed into the infrared spectrum. If that same Sunlight hits cloud cover it is released back into space, if it hits plants it is converted into energy for growth, not heat! Life Cycle of a Planet by Daniel James Kadavy is a short 12-page paper that explains the only direction forward for repairing the planet's "Temperature Regulating Abilities"
Ladies and Gentlemen, you have the power to get information to be looked at. I can only present that information, I am a nobody and only 1 person. The only concern is whether we do what nature designed us to do, for we have already postponed the next ice age from occurring. Still, we must now go into that all-important direction of saving all carbon-based life for as long as we can remain a viable species on the planet? I can be reached by phone 24/7 at 402-890-7946 (I live in Nebraska, USA) or @ daniel.kadavy212@gmail.com to read over 1 million words on this most important yet boring topic everyone is invited to go to https://lifecycleofaplanet.blogspot.com Thank you, for taking the time but do not forget to press that forward button to everyone, Dan
