482 Since the early 1900s most places on the planet has started sending children to school instead of work and illiteracy has been dropping around the planet ever since. The middle class and rich for much longer!

     But in many ways, we have failed in the attempt to do more than just Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic. Yes, it is fairly easy to set forth a test showing that at least the basic minimums have been met. Who has not set through a class where questions are not asked, just rote memorization for passing information on from one generation to another. Not looking to expand upon what others have discovered. or even express questions that perhaps put certain beliefs to a different test than what is normally given to prove a certain outlook. There truly are many ideas that have been proven in so many ways that no other opinion can be brought into play. But there are also even more ideas that have no such set boundaries, expanding mankind's horizons can not be accomplished if we only work toward the minimum necessary for educating each successive generation, without learning how to instill wonder and the need for understanding that so many of us lose after graduation. Much of course comes from the need to "begin" supporting ourselves. Becoming responsible adults with partners, children, and the day-to-day necessities that life demands. But also much comes from the older generations and the need for the status quo. 

    In the scientific community, the constant need to publish or perish prevents the necessary connection that young people need with direct contact with people who still can influence the desire for knowledge and not just a paycheck. How many minds have been wasted because there was no one there when someone needed that push to extend themselves into a field of study that could have greatly benefited from a new perspective! Instead, we have millions of young people who are positive that they know everything because everyone has told them their whole lives how smart and great they are because they excelled at the minimum level of competency! These are the next generation that feels no need to go beyond the minimum effort while believing that they deserve the maximum pay! And our generation is to blame. I have worked in construction my whole Adult life, enjoying the physical labor, and when done with a job, receiving satisfaction from what I built with my own hands, Yet every father or mother that I have known would never want their children to follow in my footsteps including my own wife.     

     Balancing a checkbook seems to be the limit of the use of math for most people. And with smartphones, even that need has been eliminated. There has been a massive increase in what I like to call instance knowledge at the tip of the finger or voice via smartphones, but it is not real knowledge in that nothing exists without background. I was looking at an incident that happened during the last year of WWII, where a whole company of American soldiers was surrounded in a single building in a town in Belgium by a much larger German Army. The American in Charge was quota as saying well men they have us surrounded, poor BASTARDS, and the Americans did win, WOW well what they did not mentions is that the Germans had run out of petrol, bullets, and food so had to withdraw not because of the American kicking their ass. 

    The same view of the Civil War between The North and The South in America that killed so many men, women, and children was not fought because of slavery. but because the North would not allow the South to build the infrastructure necessary to use the product that they produced and convert them to finished products that would have greatly increased their value. Instead, they had to sell everything to the North at prices that did not allow for Slavery to end and then had to buy back the finished product at very high prices.

    The victors do really write the history books, never showing themselves as anything but the good overpowering the bad, and many times because God was on their side! 

    "Life cycle of a planet by Daniel James Kadavy" tries very hard to overcome so many misconceptions about how we see ourselves. We are truly the planet's last attempt to have a species that can do more than simply live-reproduce-die so that the next generation can continue. Does that mean that we truly have a "Manifest Destiny" that's a question that can have no true 100% correct answer? Perhaps it can be true for some and not others, or it is only a mankind concept that has no true rational connection to humanity! For so many crimes against humanity have been caused because of the belief that not all of mankind has a "Manifest Destiny" but only special parts of society do!

    The failure that we have allowed to happen in teaching each generation has led to the "I" movement that seems to be gripping so many on the planet where knowledge is only what each individual wishes to believe in! It so often involves "Freedom of Speech" principles that should be called the freedom to dis-believe principle.

Every extinction event in our planet's history except the one that wiped out the dinosaurs was directly caused by carbon-based life and the carbon sequestration that followed! Yet a quite active plate tectonics that continually brought a percentage of the long-termed stored carbon back into the atmosphere as carbon dioxide was absolutely necessary for carbon-based life to continue for as long as it had! Allowing a direct line for mankind's appearance 66 million years later (or thereabout). But the problem is how those in charge have decided the course that mankind must now follow is only paved with money and how to make it for a certain percentage of the population. There are of course now a lot of regulations on preventing too much damage to the environment, yet it is a hit-and-miss type of requirement that can be re-routed with enough money and the right legal team. 

   Climate deniers have as much of a right at questioning if Global Warming and Climate Change is truly only caused by Mankind additions of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, as Those who believe that it is all Mankinds fault! For both are right as far as the current knowledge leads us! Dan
